Big NC Tennis
Everything you need to know about weather cancellations, refunds, and our code of conduct.
Big NC Tennis offers outdoor programming at various locations across Holly Springs, Apex, Fuquay-Varina, and Harnett County. Weather cancellations are taken seriously — player safety always comes first.
Depending on where your program is held and your skill level, you will receive notifications via email or WhatsApp regarding cancellations. We make every effort to communicate as early as possible.
How we notify you:
Email notification
You'll receive an email to the address on file as soon as a cancellation decision is made.
WhatsApp group message
Program-specific WhatsApp groups are updated immediately with any weather changes.
Social media
For the quickest real-time updates, follow us on Facebook and Instagram.
Note: Indoor events such as the Quay Clash are not subject to weather cancellations.
We understand that plans change. Our refund policy is straightforward:
Full Refund
Cancellations made more than 24 hours before the event or program start time are eligible for a full refund, for UTR events no refunds after draws are released or 48 hours before start of event.
No Refund
Cancellations made within 24 hours of the event or program start time are not eligible for a cash refund. In exceptional circumstances (illness, family emergency), a credit toward a future program may be issued at our discretion.
If Big NC Tennis cancels an event for any reason, a full refund will be issued regardless of timing. Questions about a refund? Email admin@bignctennis.com.
Big NC Tennis is committed to providing a welcoming, positive environment for players of all ages and skill levels. We expect all participants, coaches, and spectators to uphold the following standards:
Respect everyone on and off the court
Treat coaches, opponents, partners, and spectators with courtesy and sportsmanship at all times.
Play with integrity
Make honest line calls. Disagreements should be resolved calmly and fairly.
Follow facility rules
Respect the courts, facilities, and equipment. Leave the court in better shape than you found it.
Zero tolerance for harassment
Abusive language, intimidation, or harassment of any kind will result in immediate removal from the program or event with no refund.
