FAQ

Do I need a UTR Rating to join?

No. You need a free UTR account to register. If you don’t have a rating yet, the league manager will place you.

Where are matches played?

Wherever you and your opponent agree. You set the time and the court together.

What do I bring?

Your own can of balls. If the court has a fee, agree to split it with your opponent before you play. Flex Leagues don’t reimburse court fees.

How do I contact my opponents?

Open the Matchups tab on the event page or in the app and tap the phone icon next to their name. Your name, email and schedule are shared with other registered players.

What is the match format?

Best two of three sets, with a ten-point tiebreaker in place of a full third set. See UTR’s Flex League rules for exceptions.

What if my opponent doesn’t respond or show?

If you’ve tried their email and phone several times, or they don’t show, submit the match as a default with no score and still get credit. If you just can’t agree on a time, leave the match card blank.

Can I get a refund?

Yes, before the league starts. There are no refunds once the session start date arrives, or for unhappy matchups.
